Reach Restriction: Nickel legislation applies to all items which are intended to come into prolonged and direct contact with the skin. It is worth noting that once Nickel sensitisation occurs, it is irrevocable and irreversible. The EN 1811:2011 A1:2015 test method determines that articles should release less than 0.88µg/cm²/week for articles in prolonged and direct contact with the skin and less than 0.35 µg/cm²/week for articles to be intended to be inserted into a pierced part of the human body.

Reach Restriction: Lead and its compounds shall not be placed on the market or used in any individual part of the jewellery articles if the concentration in such a part is equal to or greater than 0.05% by weight.

Reach Restriction: Cadmium and its compounds shall not be placed on the market if the concentration of cadmium is equal or greater than 0.01% 100μg/kg) by weight of the metal. Painted articles shall not be placed on the market if their concentration of cadmium is equal or greater than 0.1% ( 1000μg/kg) by weight of the paint on the article.
